2012 BMW 6 Series |
BMW has only just announced the new 2012 Bmw 6 Series Coupe yet tuners have already conjured up some modification plans. One of the first of such plans includes this BMW 6 Series by Prior Design.
BMW 6 Series refers to two generations of automobile from BMW, first being based on the E23 BMW 7 Series sedan and the second – 14 years later – on the E60 5 Series sedan. The first was the E24, launched in 1976 to replace the 3.0CS & 3.0CSi (E9). In 2003, BMW released the all new E63/E64 which was available as a coupé and convertible. Models were the 645ci (later replaced with the 650i) and the 630i. The highest performance 6 series is the BMW M6. The third generation F12 and F13 6 series is scheduled for 2011.
Details such as the darkened double-spoke mesh-style alloys and the quad chrome outlet exhaust. Prior Design has gone further than simply adding bolt-on accessories though, the tuner has also developed an all-new aero package comprising of new front and rear bumper bars, bonnet and new front guards.
The development of this new body kit is still under development, but as you can see from the image that was released, the new 6er will be fitted with an M3 inspired front bumper that integrates LED daytime running lights above the side air vents, a carbon fiber front apron, a vented bonnet that helps in cooling the engine, new side sills, redesigned side grilles, and black Prior Design decals. At the rear the Prior Design 2012 BMW 6 Series Coupe received a modified bumper that accommodates the carbon diffuser and also the 4 stainless steel exhaust pipes.
