If history is any indication (our post about Ford killing the 19-foot Excursion had 74 comments), we will hear from people who claim to have legitimate uses for the H2. It's possible that they do, but we're not talking about them individually; What we rejoice about is the death of a symbol for GM.
There's no doubt in our minds that the vehicle that a car company picks as its iconic product has an impact on both the company itself (how it targets advertising, what the other models are like, what ideas it will reject as not fitting with a certain image, etc) and on what customers of that company expect, since the whole point of a halo product is to put a little of its DNA in the more affordable models.
The fastest Hummer will run on American highways soon. A county sheriff has orderd a Hummer tuned by Geigercars. The Hummer will be equipped with 700hp, a 7.0liter engine and 904(!)Nw.
It will accelerate from 0 to 100 within 6 seconds and its topspeed is 250 kmh.
Well, if you are thinking of having one on your one. Good luck, just one wheel has a size of 325/35 R28 and is estimated to cost you 1 000 Euro.
The total price is unknown, however, it is somewhere above 200 000 Euro.

The Black Chrome Limited Edition will be available in three colors, but only the Sedona Metallic paint scheme (pictured) will be exclusive to the Black Chrome version of the H2, complete with matching interior. Only 1,300 units will be available worldwide. This super-duty stretched version of the already-huge Hummer rolls on eight 22′s and hauls around 2 VIP lounges, disco floors and ceilings, some custom gull-wing doors in back and a level-5 sounds system. Take a look at a photo of the interior after the jump, which appears to be as roomy as they get. No details are given about how many people it can hold, but we’re guessing it’s enough.

One person was injured yesterday morning when a Hummer crashed into a school bus.
No children were on the Indianapolis Public Schools bus when it collided with the Hummer at Terrace Avenue and Madison Avenue, according to Marion County police.
Police closed Madison Avenue near Pleasant Run Parkway North Drive while firefighters worked to extricate the driver of the SUV out of the vehicle.
The victim was awake and transported to an area hospital.
I was thinking, acording to the image, or the crash was at a very high speed, or the Hummer are really more fragile of what i thought.
